On May 4, the final of the Volunteer Talent Competition of ISF Jinjiang 2020 Gymnasiade with the theme of "showing my ambition" came to a successful conclusion. Lin Xin from Jiyan Middle School won the first prize of the Middle School group, and Xie Chaonan from Fuzhou University (Jinjiang Science and Education Park) won the first prize of the University Group.

In March this year, the Jinjiang Committee of Communist Youth League launched the Volunteer talent Competition of the 18th Gymnasiade, which targeted at more than 5000 volunteers from 22 schools. After two rounds of preliminary contests, 12 candidates from the Middle School Group and the University Group entered the final stage.

The final took four parts: 1 minute for self-introduction, 3 minutes for prepared speech on the theme of "the Gymnasiade and me", 5 minutes for personal talent exhibition, as well as situational Q&A.

"I am a key member of the Youth Volunteer Association of my school and volunteer of the Gymnasiade. I like dancing very much and I’ve got talent for sports. I felt I was fit for that when I saw the competition announcement." Xie said that she had done her homework for the competition. Now she has a deep understanding of Jinjiang and looks forward to meeting athletes from all over the world. She is willing to contribute to the Gymnasiade and be an ambassador for Jinjiang.
