VI system of ISF Jinjiang 2020 Gymnasiade released
According to the Executive Committee Office of ISF Jinjiang 2020 Gymnasiade, in addition to the well-known emblem and slogan, the VI system of ISF Jinjiang 2020 Gymnasiade, including the color system, core graphics and sports icons, have all been unveiled.
Color system is the color standard and basic element of the image and look of ISF Jinjiang 2020 Gymnasiade, aiming to determine the basic color, auxiliary color and dominant color to be used in creating the colour environment of the Gymnasiade.
Golden, pink, green, blue... Talking about the inspiration of the color system of the Gymnasiade, Zhang Wei, the main designer, said that ISF Jinjiang 2020 Gymnasiade is an international multi-sport event dedicated to middle school students worldwide, and each color has a different meaning.
As one of the basic image elements of the Gymnasiade, core graphics combine various image elements of the 18th Gymnasiade, such as the emblem, slogan, mascot and sports icons, playing an important role in creating the unique image and look of the Gymnasiade and demonstrating the concept of ISF Jinjiang 2020 Gymnasiade and the spirit of Jinjiang."We carefully selected five specialties of Jinjiang and adopted a unified visual design approach to create the core graphics with their outlines," said Zhang. According to her, the core graphics use brick-and-stone walls as the main pattern with a combination of the rising sun, onward waves, magnolia in bud and swallow-tail-shaped roof ridges, reflecting the characteristic regional culture and marine culture of Jinjiang while demonstrating the concept of "Better Us, Better Future" of the Gymnasiade.
The sports icons follow the design concept of the emblem, which recombines the architectural elements of brick-and-stone walls to show the movements of the 18 major sports items of the Gymnasiade.
