Recently, our journalist learned from the Jinjiang municipal committee of the Communist Youth League that the 18th Gynmasiade Volunteer Talent Contest will be held in Jinjiang in order to create a good atmosphere for the Gymnasiade, to select a number of outstanding volunteers, and also to provide a platform for volunteers to display themselves.

The competition will last from March 5th to May 4th, and will be divided into three phases: preliminary, second and final. Two groups for high school students and university students will be open to 5000-plus volunteers from 22 schools.

The contest is currently in the audition stage. Contestants are invited to shoot and upload their videos to Douyin (@topic). The committee will organize judges to appraise the videos. All the videos are required to include a 20-second self-introduction and a 40-sencond talent show. The contestants can enroll on their own or be recommended by their school.

A special column on the Gymnasiade official website will promote the contest, which is hosted by the Office of the Executive Committee of the 18th Gymnasiade and jointly undertaken by the Logistics & Volunteer Department and the Jinjiang municipal committee of the Communist Youth League.
