As 2020 Jinjiang Gymnasiade is approaching, Jinjiang municipal office for Guiding Cultural and Ethical Progress has established 5 Gymnasiade volunteer stations (V stations) in Wanda Plaza, SM Mall, Chendai Wuyue Square, Qingyang branch of Fujian BTNG Group and Jinjiang branch of China Bank respectively.
V stations, with splendid outlook and gracious services, will make Jinjiang a better city. The roadside radiant compartments, with the colorful slogan of "Better Us, Better Future", are eye-catching to the people passing by. In the meanwhile, V stations, with citizens' needs in mind, provide a multitude of services.
The Gymnasiade V station located at Jinjiang SM International Mall provides 24-hour service. By scanning the QR code, people can get inside the booth and use it. There is a hot and cold water dispenser, charging cables, bottled mineral water, disposable umbrellas, shoes, toys, garments, and baby-care table, ready to serve the needy citizens.

The station director and captain of Yuan’ai Service Team under the auspices of Jinjiang Youth Volunteers Association (the operating agency of this V station) Xu Rongcan said they always keep an eye on this staffless station through the Internet. Every Sunday morning they also serve free breakfast for sanitation workers.
The V stations at Jinjiang Wanda Plaza and Chendai Wuyue Square offer free services such as basic and first-aid drugs, coin changing, road direction and battery charging.
"The love house is open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. when there is heavy foot traffic in the street. Among all the services it provides, coin changing is the most popular, which deals RMB 20000 to 30000 worth of coins a year. Besides, since there are few copy shops in this shopping area, the station is equipped with an all-in-one printer to address some urgent needs," said the station director Lin Yongming. This V station used to be a love house belonging to the Communist Youth League, and also serve as a blood donation site. Now, the blood donation vehicle comes at the first weekend of each month to make easier for the donors.
"All these V stations not only contribute to Jinjiang's city image, but broaden the scope of volunteer service," said an official in the municipal civility department. During the 2020 Jinjiang Gymnasiade, these stations will become platforms to provide services for the grand event.
